About Interventional Pain Consultants
Fellowship-trained physicians dedicated to reducing pain, improving function, and enhancing quality of life.
Our Practice
Interventional Pain Consultants (IPC) is a physician-led, multi-location interventional pain management practice with 5 clinic locations and 2 ambulatory surgery centers across North Georgia and East Tennessee. Our team of over 70 professionals — including board-certified, fellowship-trained pain management physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and dedicated support staff — is committed to providing the highest standard of pain care to our communities.
Founded by Dr. Joshua Hare, IPC was built on the principle that chronic pain deserves the same level of diagnostic precision and treatment sophistication as any other medical condition. We use advanced imaging guidance, evidence-based procedures, and a patient-centered approach to identify the exact source of pain and treat it with the least invasive technique available.
Our Approach
Effective pain management starts with an accurate diagnosis. Many patients come to us after months or years of treatments that addressed symptoms without identifying the root cause. Our physicians use fluoroscopic-guided diagnostic injections, advanced imaging, and comprehensive clinical assessments to pinpoint the precise anatomical structure generating pain — then develop a targeted treatment plan.
We offer more than 50 interventional procedures spanning the full spectrum of pain management, from epidural steroid injections and nerve blocks to advanced neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation, DRG stimulation) and minimally invasive spine surgery (kyphoplasty, MILD, ELID). Every treatment plan is individualized, and we always start with the least invasive approach that is likely to be effective.
