Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique that uses thin, filiform needles (similar to acupuncture needles) inserted into myofascial trigger points without injecting any medication. The mechanical stimulation of the needle disrupts the trigger point and promotes muscle relaxation and pain relief.

Conditions Treated
Myofascial trigger points, chronic muscle pain and stiffness, tension headaches, plantar fasciitis, tendinopathy
How It Works
A thin needle is inserted directly into the myofascial trigger point. The needle creates a local twitch response in the muscle, disrupting the trigger point pathology and promoting blood flow, healing, and muscle relaxation. No medication is used — the therapeutic effect comes entirely from the needle stimulation.
What to Expect
15-30 minutes depending on the number of areas treated. You will feel brief twitch responses and mild discomfort during treatment.
Recovery
Mild muscle soreness for 24-48 hours. Stretching, hydration, and heat application recommended. Resume normal activities immediately.
Duration of Relief
Effects are cumulative with regular treatments. Many patients notice improvement after 2-4 sessions.
