What we treat, and how

Interventional pain management — diagnosis and procedural treatment of chronic and acute pain of the spine, joints and nerves.

Conditions

Twenty-four condition areas are covered in full on the site, each listing the treatment options we actually offer for it — from lumbar and cervical radiculopathy to neuropathic and post-surgical pain.

Procedures

Fifty-five procedures, each with its indications, what the patient should expect and recovery — epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, joint injections and nerve blocks among them.

Our opioid policy

For many referring offices this is the deciding question.

We take over patients already on long-term opioids

A patient on long-term opioid therapy can be referred here. We take over the pain management, prescribing included.

Prescribing runs under a controlled-substance agreement

Ongoing opioid prescribing requires a controlled-substance agreement, PDMP checks and drug screening.

We taper

This is not an interventional-only practice. Medication management is part of the work, and patients we take over are tapered.

Workers' compensation and accident cases

We treat workers' compensation patients on Georgia and Tennessee claims, and personal-injury patients whose care is arranged through a letter of protection, a medical lien or auto medical payments coverage, each of which is explained on the car accident and injury page. Adjusters and nurse case managers can send authorizations and records to the practice e-fax, (866) 568-6713. State-by-state panel and referral rules are on the workers' compensation page.

Ask us a question

For referring offices — check whether a case is a fit, or request a call back.

Please do not include any patient information here. This form reaches the practice as an ordinary message and is not an intake channel. Send patient records by fax to (866) 568-6713 instead.

Questions from referring offices

No. Patients may self-refer, and most plans do not require a referral. A referral from you is still welcome and is handled the same way — it simply means the patient arrives with your records and your clinical question already in hand.
The one nearest them. All five clinics provide interventional pain management and each publishes its own direct line. Appointments and injections take place at the clinics. Procedures that require a surgical suite are performed at our Dalton surgery center in Georgia or our Cleveland surgery center in Tennessee.
Fax them to (866) 568-6713. That is one practice fax line covering every location, so you do not need a different number per clinic.
Twenty-one carriers, including Medicare, Medicaid, BlueCare Tennessee and Peach State Health Plan. If you are unsure about a specific plan, call the clinic and ask before sending the patient.
Chronic and acute pain of the spine, joints and nerves — twenty-four condition areas are covered in detail on the site, from lumbar and cervical radiculopathy to neuropathic and post-surgical pain.
Fifty-five, each with its own page describing indications, what to expect and recovery — epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, joint injections and nerve blocks among them.
Same-week appointments are available at most locations. We acknowledge every referral within one business day, and the clinic contacts your patient directly to schedule. Clinics see patients Monday to Thursday.
