Conditions Treated

All chronic pain conditions when pharmacologic management is indicated as part of a multimodal treatment plan

How It Works

Our physicians evaluate your pain condition, medical history, current medications, and treatment goals to develop an individualized medication plan. This may include non-opioid analgesics, anti-inflammatory medications, neuropathic pain medications (gabapentin, pregabalin, duloxetine), muscle relaxants, topical treatments, and when medically appropriate, carefully managed opioid therapy with regular monitoring.[1]

What to Expect

Initial evaluation includes a comprehensive medication review, urine drug screening, and review of the state prescription drug monitoring program (PDMP). Follow-up visits for medication management are scheduled regularly.

Follow-up

Medication management is an ongoing treatment relationship. Regular follow-up visits allow your clinician to review your response, side effects and treatment goals.

Duration of Relief

Ongoing as part of your comprehensive pain treatment plan. Medications are regularly reviewed and adjusted based on response, side effects, and treatment goals.

The first visit includes a full medication review, a urine drug screen and a check of the state prescription drug monitoring program. Follow-up visits are scheduled regularly, and what you are taking is adjusted based on how you respond, side effects and your treatment goals.
