UnitedHealthcare's employer group, individual and marketplace plans are all plans we work with. We also accept UMR — if your card says UMR, that is a UnitedHealthcare company administering your employer's self-funded plan, and it is a separate contract from standard UnitedHealthcare coverage. Both are on our accepted list, by name.
United Medicare Advantage is accepted as its own entry too, so Medicare members with a United plan can be seen at the same clinics.

Most UnitedHealthcare health plans cover interventional pain management when it is medically necessary — the evaluations, image-guided injections and nerve procedures that make up our core work. That typically includes care such as epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation and spinal cord stimulation for conditions like back pain, neck pain, sciatica and radiculopathy. UnitedHealthcare, UMR and United Medicare Advantage are three different contracts, so we confirm which one is yours before your first visit.
Prior authorization
Some UnitedHealthcare plans require prior authorization before certain procedures — commonly the implanted and radiofrequency treatments, sometimes injections after the first series. If your plan requires one, our team finds out during verification and handles the request with your plan, so an authorization requirement does not hold up your care.
