Minimally Invasive Spine Procedures

Some spine pain has a structural cause an injection cannot fix: a compressed vertebra, a thickened ligament crowding the spinal canal, disc material pressing where it shouldn't. These procedures treat the structure itself, through openings measured in millimeters.
Kyphoplasty stabilizes vertebral compression fractures. The MILD procedure treats lumbar spinal stenosis by removing excess ligament. Percutaneous and endoscopic decompression address disc-related pressure, and radiofrequency ablation completes the family where the right target is the nerve rather than the structure.
